Infectious disease

Question: I have been recently diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumonia,
significantly affecting my immune system. I have worked with young children
for over 30 years and it is likely I contracted it this way. Is there a
homeopathic remedy which I could take to help me recover from the damage
this has done/is doing to my immune system? My doctor told me that he,
himself has this disease and likely that a large percentage of the adult
population has it, but don't know they do. In addition to compromising the
immune system and putting a person at constant risk for infection (viral and
bacterial), he also stated that it causes fatigue, is progressive and
attacks the joints over time. He also said that it is frequently mis-
diagnosed for Fibromyalgia, which it is not.I am very interested in your
ideas about what I may do homeopathically to improve/cure the course of the
disease and improve my immune system, as still working with young children,
so frequently ill from what they bring to me.I am so grateful for your
thoughts and ideas.
answer: The question is of course why you did get it now after working such
a long time with children? What was the trigger that brought down your
uimmune system? As usual we don't treat diseases but people WITH a disease
and therefore triggers and the miasmatic soil must be addressed in order to
cure it. Certainly a cure is possible to put this micro organism in non
active presence as happens also with so many other viruses. The homeopath
has to investigate all this on his consult.
