Asthma and Calcium

Question: My daughter does not suffer from autism, but is a special needs
child. She has 'atopic dermatitis' and asthma. Her eczema presented at
only 3 months, the asthma at 1 year. She is allergic to all dairy
products, soy, eggs, nuts, oils, chocolate, shellfish and many
environmental allergens. This runs in my husband's family, she is by far
the most affected of her cousins. She has been underhomeopathic therapy
since infancy with little improvement. Her basic chronicsymptoms have not
changed in almost 6 years and the allergies have not reduced inintensity
at all. I'm pretty sure she is tubercular, since she has long, fine
eyelashes, and very fair skin; she also expresses many tubercular
mental/emotionaltendencies. Her reactions are profound, she cannot drink
milk without vomiting, eat cheese or any dairy source at all. Depending on
the load of allergen, her reaction
can run from mild itching to full-blown wheezing which can only be
controlled byalbuterol. She is currently taking Calc carb 6C prn, seems
like we are dosing about once a week. I am concerned that she is not
getting enough calcium; her teeth have been really bad (12 of 20 teeth
have fillings and she just had to have a pulpectomy (baby root canal).
Should I supplement with Calcium in addition to giving the Calc carb? I
don't want to tax her system if she can't absorb it and make things worse.
We have tried different supps on and off along the way-little help!
Answer: First regarding enough Calcium: this might well point out to her
true tubercular constitution Calc-phos. The best way to give anyone
calcium (especially in menopause too) is the cellsalt Calc-phos 6x of
which one can take a daily dose besides the chronic indicated remedy. One
short remark about her chronic condition: asthma alwaysrequires an
anti-sycotic remedy and Calc carb is very little antisycotic (mainly
psoric and somewhat syphilitic).
