Parental advice
Question: Dr Luc, I have a 6 year old child with autism. I am working on
myself as well as him with homeopathy. As his mother, I want him to 'recover'
from autism, but I worry that my desire to recover him is impinging on his
own ability to heal and mine. The world is so fatalistic where autism is
concerned and as a parent, it is very difficult to battle the belief system
of others every day when we go outside in the world. I have been using
biomedical interventions (supplements/chelation) for 4 years but have stopped
all of that in favor of homeopathy. I want to put my faith in homeopathy
completely and want to know if you can advise what 'kind' of parent sees the
best results in homeopathy for their children. Did these parents do something
in particular for themselves that helped their children? Thank you! Brenda
Answer: This is an excellent question. First of all by stopping biomedical
intervention you avoid suppressing symptoms of your child, symptoms we need
to know to find the right remedy. So that is already a good step forwards.
Second. Study the basics and more of homeopathy so you can judge for yourself
if the treatment is effective. To support this point I have made six lesons
for the public in homeopathy on my web site free for any's review. Third, I
have seen the best results with intelligent parents who get together (it is
difficult being alone in this battle)and support each other in a rational
way. Mothers need each others support. Towards the end of this year I have an
extensive book about autism coming out that wil be very helpful.
warm regards
