Sequence of remedies
Question: dear dr luc, i would like to know weather lycopodium can be
given after sulpher along with thuja.my child peviously experienced slight
improvement on lycopodium for 7 months and at last visit ,sulpher 6c was
given resulting in severe aggravation and lost all his gains.,and in
subsequent visit our dr prescribed lycopodium 6c, along with thuja (only
for 3 days at night) , but as per understanding sulpher ->calc
carb->lycopodium is the sequence. and after sulpher , still lycopodium
symptoms are present .now what shoul be the right course of management in
absence of calc carb symptoms except head sweating. more over after
sulph, the child started desire music always, increased
hyperactivity,restlessness of
hands, playing with the threads by waving them etc.,and there is clear
indication,as per my knowledge, for tarantula Hispanica . so i request to
clarify my doubts. thank
you srini m
Answer: There are no fixed rules except the homeopath neeeds to address
the presenting picture. Indeed Sulp-Calc c -Lyc is a well known sequence
of remedies but if no Calc c symptoms present while Lyc characteristics
show, Lycopodium can and should be given. There is another possibility for
your child: that the Sulphur dose did not cause an aggravatioin but rather
pointed to the next remedy (possible Tarentula h) as Sulphur is also a
"lack of reaction" remedy, which means it can bring forth the right remedy
picture by supporting the Vital Force.
Warm regards
Dr luc
