Hypothyroidism
Question: Can homeopathy bring thyroid production into balance, i.e. if an
individual has hypothyroidism and especially if the individual has been on a
medication such as Synthroid for many years? Are there some cases where it
is determined that the individual's body will not produce adequately?
Please comment on an individual whose mother and grandmother are also
diagnosed with hypothyroidism and have been on allopathic medications such
as Levoxyl, Synthroid, etc. for decades. While this seems to be genetic
since environmental effects have changed dramatically over the past 50
years, is it possible that all three generations of women can be cured by
homeopathic treatments?
Answer: There is no more disease diagnosed than hypothyroidism in this
country. Not because the diagnosis is not correct but it shows the lack of
knowledge about real triggers to cause such dysfunction. So many triggers,
and in the first place emotional events, need to be examined that preceded
the low functioning of the thyroid. That this is seen in three generations
is not uncommon as you say. Indeed the miasmatic influence. So a remedy,
and not necessarily the same, is possible for all three cases. The
environment in allopathic terms seems to be always the "exterior"
environment. Chinese medicine 5,000 years ago already knew about the
Exterior environment (poisons, toxins, medicines, climate factors, etc)
and the INTERIOR environment (emotions). It is this last factor that is
still most neglected yet it is the factor most responsible for disease
