Recurrent colds
Question: Hello, I am asking a ? regarding my 5 yr old daughter. Every
winter for the past 3 years she gets a sore throat, nasal discharge that
leads to a cough. everything clears except for the dry, irritating cough
that will last till spring. She also has chronic vaginal irritation (
constantly pulling at her underwear) without my result from past
homeopaths in the area and After trying several remedies including Phos,
Sulphur, Tub. and several others i recently tried Psor Lm1 several minutes
after giving it the cough subsided for awhile (several hours) but then
returned. Would this be an indication that the remedy was correct but the
doseage wrong? Or the remedy is wrong all together? With My Highest

Answer
Dear Liz
This case of your daughter tells us about her weak resistance to colds
(respiratory system) every winter. In Chinese medicine we talk about
attack of Cold and mainly Wind-Cold and your daughter having a lack of Wei
or Defense Qi. This together with the chronic vaginal irritation tells me
how everey winter the Psoric miasm is stirred up and she has trouble
getting rid of the cough, a result of the stirring of this miasm. So I was
not surprised that Psorinum did something good as it addresses the
hereditary background of Psora, especially on the level of allergies but
it will have to be followed up by a good remedy as Psorinum will not cure
but alleviate the genetic background much which is a first good step. So a
few more doses )even in higher potency) could be given by your homeopath
but each time after such dose, he or she will have to look for the
indicated remedy to show up
Warmest regards
