Peridontitis
Question: Dr Luc, I have a question about periodontics treament with
homeopathy. Is this an acute condition and if so what would be the best
remedy. I am a lay person on homeopathy, but have successfully used
hemeopathy for acute treatment a number of times. The People's Repertory
has been a wonderful source of guidance for acute remedy selection. Thanks
Saju
Answer: Dear friend. It all depends upon duration of the condition whether
you call it "acute" or "chronic." Acute means in general less than 6
months and chronic more than 6 months. There are many periodontic diseases
and you don't tell me precisely what is going on. Usually there are no
specifics but always several remedies used according to the patient's
clinical picture. If the gums have inflammation, supplements such as
CoEnzym Q10 and Vit C are greatly indicated.
Wish you happy holidays
