Info for the Homeopath
Question:
Dear Dr. Luc - As a parent of a newborn infant, I am curious as to
the timing of prescribing a chronic rx. Besides the mother's
mental/emotional state while the infant was inutero, what additional
information should parents provide to the homeopath to determine the infant's
simillimum i.e. infant's temperament/disposition, sleeping/eating pattern,
any medical issues during delivery/labor. Any insight you could provide
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your continued support.
Answer:
Indeed the intra utero history is VERY important and the questions
one needs to ask herself (mom) are numerous. Then comes the family history
of both sides and keep in mind that there is more of a crossover of these
miasms...for girls look at father's side, boys at mother's. Of course
temperament and true constitution become more visible when they are going
beyond age one, in other words as their ego grows, more characteristics show,
extravert and introvert. Interesting according to Jung, a dominant function
of conscious (feeling, thinking, intuition or sensation) is only formed by
age 18. Also don't forget the state of mind of mom while breastfeeding:
anger, fright and grief are emotions being transferred and causing diseases
such as convulsions, colicky states, etc.
Early problems with insomnia coupled to cafe au lait spots also indicate
often the Carcinosin state.
Warm regards
Dr luc
