aggravation
Question: Dear Dr. Luc, I am trying to understand why similar aggravations
occur and what they mean. First, is a similar aggravation when a child (as
in my case) begins to show new symptoms after giving a remedy that are in
the symptom picture of the remedy but not present earlier in the child and
is it also an exaggeration of existing symptoms in the child matching some
in the symptom picture of the remedy? Why do they occur and how is it
different from proving? Do the similar aggravations occur more at higher
potencies? Is the particular child more sensitive? When similar aggravations
occur and there is some positive from the remedy, does that mean that the
remedy is close but is not quite a fit? Or can it mean that it is good sign
of the body working it out and something good will turn up? Thank you very
much and have a good holiday!
Answer: dear friend: on my web site there are Six Lessons in Homeopathy for
the Lay people and you can also find them on this wonderful blog/website of
Kari.In one word: similar aggravation means right remedy, WRONG potency
and/or dose or too freqiuently repeated! Always then one needs to wait till
patient gets benefit from it and then again gets worse. It occurs much more
often with 4 th edition prescriber than the 5th or 6t edition. We never want
this as it slows down the cure
