shingles

Question: Dear Dr. Luc, A Very Happy New Year to you! Thank you so much
for all the support you are giving to parents like me. You are giving so
much to this world, and I truly pray that you get back many folds in the
form of love and blessings from every single person whose life you have
touched. I am one of them. I appreciate every beautiful wish you have at
the end of each of your e-mails, to uplift the spirits of the parent. I
need your help, not for my child this time, but for my husband. We just
got back from the doctor, and he has informed us that my husband has
Shingles. Can Shingles be successfully treated using homeopathy. Please
advice.

Dear friend
Thank you for your kind words! Shingles or Herpes Zozer (zona) usually is
activated from stressful events when the dormant virus is awaken.
Homeopathy has excellent remedies (see my book The People's Repertory). I
presume the shingles are located on the thorax or abdomen. Ranunculus
bulbosa 1M (1000C=best) or 200C can bring speedy relief by using it as an
acute (2 pellets in 8 oz bottle , 8 succussions each time and every time 1
tsp from bottle directly every 2 hrs if needed. Make sure to let a
professionnal follow this up to avoid postzonal neuralgias.
