One or more remedies
Question: Hi Dr. Luc, My son is 6 and has Autism. I recently took him to a
homeopath who has prescribed 3 drugs. Natrum Mur 4 pellets every
night(constitution) Cal Carb 4 pellets once a week on Sundays Belladonna 4
pellets once a week on Thursdays I remember reading somewhere that only
one medications should be prescribed at a time. Is the treatment regimen
above dangerous for my son. I certainly do not want to put him in danger
nor do I want to delay treatment with unnecessary medications. I
apologize, I do not know the exact strength of the medications as she
provides them in plastic, unlabled bottles.
Answer: It is hard for me to understand the rationale behind this
treatment but indeed you might raise the question with your homeopath.
True classical homeopathy is indeed the administration of one remedy as
the vital Force only gets confused by several remedies at the same time.
And even IF this would work, the homeopath really has no way of doing
further good management as he does not know what remedy is truly doing
the job. Let's not imitate allopathy in giving multiple drugs in order to
sustain a balance in the patient';s health. You might read my article on
my website (www.drluc.com) regarding "the choice of a homeopath."
