Removal of Maintaining Causes

Question:
Hahnemann spoke of removal of maintaining causes before proper curative
responses could be seen. Do you think that the removal of toxic heavy
metals in vaccine damaged children would come into this category?

Answer:
Excellent question. Hahnemann referred in his time to hygiene and
life style changes (A77) as well as iatrogenic or doctor's induced illnesses
(A74). Especially now that allopathy has jumped on the bandwagon regarding
toxic metals (with the lead poisoning in toys leading the band) more
attention again is aimed at these toxic substances. Let's even assume these
tests for Mercury, Arsenicum, etc. are very sensitive and correct (which they
are not), then the presence of such metals is not equal to causing damage
just like presence of parasites is not equal to disease (1/3rd of world
lives with parasites in harmony).

Let's take the example of Mercury for which so many people now remove
the Mercury in their teeth fillings. UNLESS you show symptoms of Mercury
(and these are known in the homeopathic provings but not known even by
these dentists who happily extract that Mercury and therefore releasing for
sure Mercury in the blood stream.)

Mercury removal is NOT advised as it rather can cause harm. Treating many
SNC who come to me with those positive tests, could respond to the
simillimum without having to do these drastic measures of chelation for
instance. It is always because here and there one success story is noted
that this is included in a protocol (which should bring you away from any
such therapy)that this is then tried on everyone. It never works that way.

So indeed IF the vaccination caused a layer and is really the only trigger
on a syphilitic terrain, then we have at least ten remedies that have as a
rubric, "Vaccinations aggravate," and the search for such simillimum is on
and will do the job. So the homeopath is in the best position to judge if
removal of toxic metals and poisons is necessary since he knows the proving
symptoms of these heavy metals. For everyone else it is a guess and as a
result many unnecessary interventions.
