Question: Dr. Luc, Please explain how the watery potency of the 5th edition of the Organon is used in chronic treatment, as mentioned in your book, Hahnemann Revisited where one would use a 200C for example. Would this solution bottle be succussed or shaken before taking a dose? Or not? I'm trying to understand the difference between the split-dose method of the 6th edition and the 5th edition water potency. Thank you for clarifying this!
Answer: When using the 5th edition split method the C potencies (6C, 30C, 200C, etc.) are used but are put into water and the bottle is succussed indeed each time before administration (and put into a cup to take a dose from it). This method is exactly the same as the 6th edition Organon but in the 6th edition, the homeopath works with LM potencies, a potency that is entirely different from the C potencies...faster working, gentle IF administered correctly (a big IF)...so both 5th and 6th edition methods in way of administration are the same.
Warm regards
