Kidney Stones

Question: Can homeopathy effectively treat kidney stones? My husband has several kidney stones in both kidneys. Just this week he went to the emergency room because one of them passed. The urologist suggested that he go through a procedure of shock waves to pulverize kidney stones into sand-like material. I was reading that this procedure has now been associated with later consequences of high blood pressure and diabetes. Have you ever been able to treat kidney stones through homeopathy? Is it possible that homeopathy can dissolve them? Some of them are around 4mm in diameter, the largest one being 1cm in diameter. I know he would prefer the safer way of dealing with this. He is faced with trying to remove the current ones and then hopefully get a constitutional remedy so that he doesn't form any more in the future. I appreciate your advice on this. Thanks.

Answer: I have treated many times acute Kidney stones attacks (had it twice myself).We have indeed excellent remedies that not only take the pain away but help evacuate the existing Kidney stones. More importantly, we also have the tools to prevent recurrence of kidney stones, something allopathy cannot do, by taking again the totality of the symptoms of the patient in account.
