DAN Protocol to Homeopathy
Question: Hello Dr. Luc, We are very interested in getting your help for our 5 yr old child. I have a concern: How do we jump from our current Yasko/DAN biomedical boat to your classical homeopathy? When we first started this journey we started with classical homeopathy with a local practitioner who unfortunately failed us and the condition was aggravated. Subsequently, a combination of DAN/Yasko methodology has been useful to a certain extent. When we start a remedy with you, do you require us to stop all supplements that are holding the child up or do the parents get to wind down their prior protocols as the child responds to the remedy? Can there be a scenario where the herbs/chemicals/procedures can interfere with the remedy? Ideally, I would like to have an option of winding down supplements over a period of few months. I know you don't believe in curative nature of supplements, neither do I, but I am thinking of quality of life. Thank you, Smita.
Answer: I work exactly according to the lines you think. It is not that I don't believe in the usefulness of diet/supplements, of course I do for anyone. If anyone in the US would follow a DAN/Candida diet we would not have the obesity and diabetes among children. But curing ASD is another matter. It is ALWAYS my principle, regardless the patient's condition or disease name, to not change ANYTHING the first time of the visit. I only give ONE remedy, do not change anything else of the patient's regimen till I know the remedy took. This way we only have ONE change, and it is easy for us to know that it was the remedy causing the progress. Once this is done other foods can be introduced and supplements limited.
I promised Kari, the creator of this wonderful group to give her film and audio of the three hour speech. She will do anything she can to make it available to anyone and if this would fail, I will not hesitate to put the whole speech in my "free time" to put on the Blog.
Warm regards
Dr luc
